EXPANDED LEARNING & ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS

Expanded Learning and After School Enrichment Programs now available in San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties. 

Program Overview

  • Structured, high-engagement after-school PE enrichment through six sports (basketball, baseball/softball, flag football, lacrosse, soccer, and volleyball)

  • Designed and configurable for grades 1–8

  • On-site, 60–90 minutes, 1–5 days/week

  • Emphasis on fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive school-day extension

 

Key Components

  • Progression Curriculum: Warm-up → Skill development → Break Down Games → Scrimmage → Reflection

  • Rotating Schedule: Sports change throughout the curriculum to reduce burnout and increase ownership

  • Positive and Professional Coaching: Clear expectations, SEL-aligned feedback and language

  • Taught by local high school and club coaches

  • Low Ratios: Target 1:15 (lead coach+ assistant available)

  • All-Play Access: Modifications for beginners and advanced athletes

  • Data & Communication: Attendance, incident logs, weekly notes to site lead​​​

Pricing

  • Lead Coach (90-minute block): $259 per site visit

  • Assistant Coach (required for 16 or more students): $159 per site visit

  • Programs are structured in 60–90-minute sessions and can be scheduled 1–3 days per week.

  • For groups of 15 students or fewer, a single Lead Coach is usually sufficient.

  • For 16 or more students, an Assistant Coach is added to maintain a low student/coach ratio and ensure safety, quality instruction, and individual attention.

  • Districts may choose to add an Assistant Coach for smaller groups if they prefer an even lower ratio.

 

Experience

  • Next Level Sports Camp was established in 2017

  • Currently serving San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties

  • Average ~150 campers per week each summer

  • Owned and operated by a former NCAA Division I (UCSB) and high school varsity boys’ basketball coach with a masters degree in education, a single-subject teaching credential, 7 years of classroom teaching experience, and 10 years of coaching experience.​
